Nurse Education, Practice, Quality (NEPQR) (HRSA-26-086) Program Funding: $24,262,837 Expected Awards: 33 Application Deadline: July 17, 2026
This program aims to increase the nursing workforce and address the nursing shortage in rural and medically vulnerable communities, by supporting innovative educational and clinical training opportunities.
Public Health Training (PHTC) Program (HRSA-26-078) Program Funding: $9,100,000 Expected Awards: 10 Application Deadline: July 17, 2026
This program aims to increase the knowledge of the public health workforce through traineeships, specialized training and professional development in partnership with state and local health departments, community-based primary care providers, and related organizations (including non-traditional partners) to address public health care needs.
Grants to States to Support Oral Health Workforce Activity (SOHW) (HRSA-26-084) Program Funding: $14,800,000 Expected Awards: 37 Application Deadline: July 17, 2026
This program supports states in developing and implementing innovative programs to address the oral health workforce needs of Dental Health Professional Shortage Areas (Dental HPSAs).
