A Denver Police Department officer who eluded state troopers at speeds over 100 mph was sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to drunken driving.

“We’ve tried everything,” Bow Mar resident Charli White said of the town’s attempts to reduce speeds of those driving through the tiny town. “It still feels like it’s not safe.”
