British baker Lungi Mhlanga has done the world a huge, delicious favour: The cookie queen introduced toast – and then jam – into her cookie dough. Sounds strange, but the delicious mashup has had Londoners lining up for hours and bakers around the world recreating them at home. This week’s recipe for buttered jam toast crumb cookies is partly inspired by Mhlanga’s genius, but also baker and dessert guru Dorie Greenspan, known for her mastery of all things sweet. Enjoy! (And feel free to eat for breakfast.)

Also this weekend, toast dad with these seven wines to serve at a Father’s day barbecue. Whether you’re grilling or smoking, these drinks will pair perfectly with the heat of the season.
