Weekly Update for June 23, 2026
 Planning a Visit This Summer?
Our summer office hours will be 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., running from Thursday, June 18 through Friday, August 7.
We will be closed on Friday, July 3 for the July 4th holiday.
Before you drop by, please give our front office a quick call at 703-679-6000 to make sure someone is available to help you. Have a wonderful summer break!
If you want to save the time and hassle of searching multiple stores for your student's school supplies, consider purchasing a kit online with everything your student will need for the fall. You'll also be supporting the WSES PTA and its programs!
The school supplies kits will be delivered directly to the school in August and will be waiting for your students on the first day of school.
If you would like to purchase your supplies, please open your grade level link for the supplies needed. You can copy this page to do your shopping.
The Willow Springs PTA wants families to know support is always available.
Family score reports for spring screening and growth assessments are available in SIS ParentVUE (PVUE) under the Documents tab for most students.
Because release dates vary by test, reports will post at different times. Depending on the assessments your student took this spring, families in grades PreK–12 will receive up to three (3) reports.

⛱️ Other Summer Reading
More opportunities to share summer book joy with your students (and staff, since many programs also offer adult summer reading challenges):
Starting Monday, June 22, no-cost meals will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis at the sites and times listed on the FCPS Summer Food Service Program webpage. Students must remain on site while eating their meals.
 Summer Learning Resources for Families
FCPS’ Summer Resource Guide has activities and tips on a variety of subjects and interests, from camps and activities to health and safety resources.
Be sure to check back over the summer, as more resources may be added.
Instructional Services is supporting student learning over the summer. Digital and print resources are being curated on the Summer Learning Resources webpage for students and families to review and practice previously taught content throughout the summer months.
Resources are organized by grade level and aligned to the learning students experienced during the school year. Families can access the materials at any time to review concepts, practice skills, or explore new ideas at home. Additional resources will continue to be added.
