| These cordless versions promised the same arm-burning intensity as traditional battle ropes without the clunky cords or need to traipse to the gym.

| Naturally, I had to give them a go. For 30 days, I swung, slammed, and (more often than not) flailed my way through workouts.

| The verdict? I didn’t end up with arms to rival Madonna. In fact, carrying my two chonky chihuahuas up the stairs felt like a comparable workout some days.
