VA Providence is bringing resources directly to Veterans and their families during the upcoming “Enroll & Thrive” Enrollment & Benefits Session at the American Legion Downey Weaver Post in Charlestown.
The event will provide Veterans with an opportunity to learn more about VA health care eligibility, enrollment, earned benefits, and community-based support services available throughout Rhode Island. Staff from VA Providence will be available to answer questions, assist with enrollment, and connect Veterans with programs designed to support their health and well-being.

Veterans looking to begin a new career journey are invited to attend a Bally’s Recruitment Event on Tuesday, July 14, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Building 39 at VA Providence.
Representatives from Bally’s will discuss a variety of employment opportunities across hospitality, gaming, food and beverage, hotel operations, marketing, finance, and other career fields. Attendees will also learn about professional development programs, employee benefits, and the company’s commitment to teamwork, integrity, and inclusion.
This event is open to all Veterans interested in exploring new career paths and connecting with a leading regional employer.

Veterans from across Rhode Island are invited to attend the next Veterans Café, a welcoming social dining event designed to foster connection, camaraderie, and community among Veterans.
The event will take place on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cold Spring Community Center, 30 Beach Street, North Kingstown, RI.
Veterans Café provides an opportunity for Veterans to enjoy a complimentary meal, connect with fellow Veterans, meet with the VA Providence Enrollment/Benefits teams, learn about available resources, and strengthen their support networks in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
