*NEW This School Year* - We are excited to announce that FCPS Student Activities and Athletics has partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service, for athletics and activities registration. One of the student-athlete requirements for participating in Athletics and Activities is registering your student-athlete (details listed below).
Within the next few days, you will receive an email from FinalForms containing a unique link to register your student-athlete. The invitation is sent to the enrolling parent email listed on SIS ParentVue. Please review the information on our website at this LINK, so you are prepared to complete your student's registration once you receive the link. All enrolling parents will receive a link to the email they registered their student to FCPS with by Monday July 6th, if you have not received your unique registration link by Tuesday July 7th, please reach out to our Activities Office.

July Activities
FCHS invites all student-athletes to take advantage of our July Activities, a great opportunity to stay active, develop skills, and prepare for the upcoming fall sports season. Participation is voluntary and provides athletes with valuable instruction and conditioning before official practices begin. For additional information, please contact your coach or the FCHS Activities Office.

New VHSL Policy! Athletic Physicals will be considered valid for a period of 14 months from the date the form is completed and signed by the medical provider. This is the date on Page 3 of the VHSL Athletic Participation Parental Consent/Evaluation Form.

VHSL Sports Physicals: Legislation introduced in the Virginia General Assembly and recently signed into law will result in two significant changes to the athletic pre-participation examination (physical) requirements for FCPS student-athletes:
Transfer Students
All Transfer Students by default are ineligible. More information can be found on the FCPS Website. The New Guardian application process must be started before the transfer student is considered a “bona fide” student. No transfer is eligible until there is a notice from the Guardian System that includes a VHSL Citation and Post Season Eligibility.

Athletics Fundraiser
The Falls Church Athletic Department Fundraiser helps generate financial support for our programs. Your donation will contribute towards expenses needed for our team to operate (ie: Uniforms, Equipment, and Supplies). Why Your Support Matters!
FCPS does not provide funding to run athletic programs at Falls Church High School. It is very important for our community to help support our student-athletes so they have a positive extracurricular experience. Our Athletic Booster Club and Falls Church Activities Office fundraises throughout each school year so our teams are fully functional and successful.
Fairfax County Public Schools pays for Coaches Stipends, Regular Season Officials (Not District/Region Postseason & Not Tournaments), and Bus Transportation (Not State Tournament).
With support from our Athletic Booster Club, the Falls Church High School Athletics Department pays for Uniforms, Equipment, Practice Gear, Safety Items, Weight Room Equipment, Upgrades, Maintenance Fees, Replacement of Safety Equipment, Invitationals & Tournament Fees, Awards, Certificates & Letters, Portable Toilet Rentals, Gym/Field Banners, Building/Stadium Beautification, Storage Sheds, Coaching Gear, Coaching Clinics, Field Paint, Field Maintenance, Mower Maintenance and Supplies, Athletic Training Supplies, State Tournament Travel Expenses, Hudl Video Software, Neptune Gametime Music, and much more!
