Donovan Thornton, 45 of No Fixed Address was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where the warrant for Failure to Appear was served. Officers responded for the report of a robbery. The reporting party stated they were repeatedly assaulted by an unknown male subject. The suspect also stole the victim's cell phone. The suspect was located nearby and identified. Blair Fleming, 37 of Fairfax was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was charged with Robbery and Malicious Wounding. Fleming was held without bond. (2026-10231)

Tips for Wise Water Use:

INDOOR

• Reduce shower length to under 5 minutes;
• Turn off water while brushing your teeth/shaving; 
• Wash only full loads of dishes and clothes; and
• Fix any plumbing leaks – especially toilets and faucets.

OUTDOOR

• Monitor watering lawns, plants, and shrubs;
• Sweep sidewalks and driveways (instead of using a hose); and
• Avoid washing your car or instead use a commercial car wash that recycles water.
