FCPS Family Vision Group

The FCPS Family Vision Group is a thriving collaboration and communication between home and school. Under the leadership of FCPS Superintendent Dr. Michelle Reid, we're committed to fostering an environment where every voice is heard and valued. Through district-wide discussions, we provide updates, solicit feedback, and address concerns because we believe the strength of our students lies in the robust partnerships forged between families and schools. We invite you to be a part of our children's educational journey because this work truly matters!

The FCPS Family Vision Group cultivates a community where respect and civility are the cornerstones of every conversation. We envision a space where active listening and open-mindedness lead the way to meaningful dialogue and mutual understanding. We see our discussions as opportunities for learning and growth, where every voice is valued and every perspective adds to our collective knowledge. We will embrace the opportunity to expand our understanding by appreciating the insights shared by others. Together, we can create a culture of empathy, collaboration, and unity.

All schools are required to have two representatives for the Superintendent’s Family Vision Group for the 26-27 school year.
