Robbery and Malicious Wounding Arrest

CITY OF FAIRFAX — On July 12, 2026, at approximately 6:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of
Blenheim Boulevard and Old Pickett Road for the report of an assault in progress.

Investigation revealed the victim was waiting in a parking lot for family when he was approached by an
unknown individual. The suspect was reportedly screaming at the victim, before throwing him to the
ground and hitting him in the face numerous times. The suspect then took the victim’s cell phone before
leaving the scene.

Officers immediately searched the area where they detained a subject nearby who matched the subject’s
description and had possession of the victim’s cell phone.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, treated for injuries, and later released.

Blair Tyrone Fleming, 37, of No Fixed address was arrested for Robbery (18.2-58) and Malicious
Wounding (18.2-51). He was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and held on no
bond.
