Hi Chud
Not glamorous. Just genuinely different.
I'll tell you what today is looking like (rather like last Tuesday).
I was up around seven. Made coffee. Sat at the kitchen table and checked my phone — not with the low-level dread I used to feel when I was watching numbers that weren't
moving, but just to see where things were.
There were two notifications from the platform. A new lead overnight and a message from someone asking a question about the challenge. I replied before my coffee was finished.
I went our for a gentle jog along my favourite country walk. An hour, no phone.
Came back, did a focused two-hour block of work. Checked in on a campaign, looked at what was converting, made one small adjustment. That was
it.
Lunch with my wife. An actual sit-down lunch, no rushing.
The afternoon was mine. I read for a bit. Cut the grass in the garden. Didn't feel the pull to be doing something productive because the productive things were already done.
I'm not telling you this to make it sound perfect. There are still hard days. Still problems to solve.
But there's no commute. No conference call I'm not needed on. No Sunday evening
feeling.
I built this at the same stage of life you're at now. With no head start online.
The method is the same one I've been describing in these emails.
Adrian.
