Join HSE’s Annual General Meeting

Tuesday 28 July 2026
1pm to 3pm

Registration to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is now open.

We will be livestreaming our AGM via an online portal, where you will have the opportunity to actively participate in a live Q&A session with our Board and Executive Committee.

Alternatively you can view via our YouTube channel, but you won’t be able to submit questions for the Q&A.

The livestream starts at 1pm on Tuesday 28 July.

Working in high temperatures

Employers must ensure workers are protected during hot weather.

There's no law for maximum working temperature, or when it's too hot to work, because every workplace is different.

No meaningful upper limit can be imposed as many indoor workplaces have high temperatures that are not seasonal but created by work activity, for example in bakeries or foundries.

HSE's website has guidance on temperature in the workplace.
