Have you had COVID-19?

Join a VA-approved study to help us learn:

• Why some COVID-19 survivors have deep fatigue after only minor efforts, while others don’t
• What this experience is like, and how it affects day-to-day life

What will I be asked to do?

• Three in-person visits over the course of two weeks to the Madison VA Hospital to:
• Fill out questionnaires
• Take cognitive tests
• Ride a stationary bike for 30 minutes
• Two online video visits (30 to 60 minutes each)
• Collect two stool samples (we will give you supplies)
• Two PET and MRI scans (some participants)

Who can participate?

• Veterans ages 25 to 65
• Those who have ever had a positive COVID test (whether you’re fully recovered or you still have symptoms)
• Those who can ride a stationary bike

What will I get?

• Participants receive $75 per in-person visit, $50 per scanning session and up to $50 for video visits.
