Recipe of the week
Frozen yogurt berry bites
I still live in my college town, and one of the most iconic food places is the local froyo shop. One of my favorite combinations is plain vanilla with fresh sliced strawberries — basic, I know, but so good! These frozen yogurt berry bites are just like my go-to order.
Each serving is made in a muffin tin, frozen for at least a couple of hours, and kept in the freezer until they’re ready to eat. The Greek yogurt gets a bit of a sweetness boost from the honey and, of course, the strawberries.
Berries, like strawberries, are rich in antioxidants. Consuming strawberries may also help reduce certain cardiovascular disease risk factors.
