Federal judges in Texas have sentenced 16 so-called antifa activists to a combined 560+ years in prison in a case stemming from a July 4 protest last year outside ICE’s Prairieland Detention Center. It’s a grotesque miscarriage of justice, and The Intercept has already racked up thousands of dollars of legal expenses fighting to access key documents under state open records law.
