I had all the usual thoughts.
“She’s probably too young.”
“She probably has ten better options.”
“I’m going to look awkward.”

And instead of trying to impress her, I
focused on creating one small moment between us.
That changed everything.
The conversation felt natural.
And for the first time in a long time, I didn’t feel like some divorced guy trying to figure out modern dating.
I just felt like a man talking to a woman he liked.
