If you’ve been paying for Claude all year and you keep stumbling into good features by accident, that isn’t your fault. Anthropic ships things without a walkthrough, the interface stays quiet about them, and the people doing impressive things with Claude mostly found out by catching a video in the right week.

On Monday, August 17, I’m running IWAI’s Claude Bootcamp to fix that in one afternoon.

One day on Projects, Skills, connectors and MCP, Cowork and Claude Code. Every term gets a plain meaning and a translation from whatever tool you used before this one. I build all of it live on screen.

The facts:

• Format: Two 90-minute sessions on Zoom, with a break in the middle

Session 1: Build Claude a Memory for Work and Life. The three Claudes, and how much each one can actually reach. Why hunting for the perfect prompt stopped paying off. Then I build a Project in front of you, starting from six badly organized files, and throw one away on screen. It ends with three instructions that stop Claude making things up.

Session 2: Connect It to Everything (Safely). What MCP is, in enough detail that you can explain it on a client call without going vague. I connect Gmail live and read the entire permission screen out loud before clicking Allow, because connectors ask for a great deal more than they need. We install a Skill, then I sabotage it the same way most people sabotage theirs by accident, and we watch it quietly stop firing. The last part is Claude Code for people who don’t code, and I finish by pointing it at two hundred badly named files.

You’ll leave with: the recording, a handout carrying every prompt and template from the day, the Project instructions I use, a starter Skill that works the moment you install it, and a seven-day plan for the week afterwards.
