Dear Veteran,
Effective September 8, 2026, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Hampton VA Health Care System will transition primary care services from the Portsmouth VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic to the Western Branch VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC).
As an enrolled Veteran at the Portsmouth VA Clinic, you will continue receiving the same healthcare services from your current primary care team. This relocation will not affect your established care. All medical appointments scheduled on or after September 8, 2026, will take place at the new location.

If this location is not convenient for you, we can offer primary care services at another facility within the Hampton VA Health Care System’s catchment area. You may request a different location by emailing VHAHAMPatientAdvocates@va.gov.
