Looking for something with a kick? At Tampa’s Beijing House, fiery flavors rule

Just a few years ago, the future of Beijing House was unclear after a kitchen fire destroyed most of the business. In the years since the fire, the flavors of Sichuan cuisine and northern Chinese fare are alive and hotter than ever.

Sold to a trio of investors: St. Pete’s iconic Chattaway restaurant is set to officially change hands by mid-September.

Out after hours? Here’s a late-night guide to find chopped cheese, drunken noodles and more.

Transformed space: A new independent steakhouse, Tommy’s Chophouse, opened on Seventh Avenue in Ybor City.

“No one eats alone unless they want to”: A pay-what-you-can cafe is headed to the Grand Central District.

Returning after almost a decade, Ceviche Tapas Bar & Restaurant comes back to Tampa, this time at International Plaza, boasting a 2,000-bottle cellar and a lauded new executive chef.
