Despite having more ways to connect, rates of loneliness are steadily increasing, thanks to factors including social media and fewer in-person interactions. A lack of meaningful social connection isn’t healthy – but there are effective ways to deal with it. Here, registered social worker and psychotherapist Anita Owusu offers up four strategies for coping with loneliness.
