| Lindsay Clancy trial resumes today after mistrial request denied |

After nearly a month of testimony, jurors in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial are set to hear from the final witnesses in a case that has largely been about her mental state when she strangled her three young children. The trial will resume Tuesday with more testimony from a forensic psychologist hired by prosecutors to evaluate Clancy’s psychiatric history and asses the defense claim that she was suffering from acute postpartum psychosis when she killed the children at their Massachusetts home. Kirk Heilbrun told jurors Monday that he believed Clancy took her children’s lives so they wouldn’t “suffer” after she killed herself. He said he didn’t believe Clancy’s claim that she hallucinated a voice telling her to kill the children. |

| Body found in major search for woman wanted in death of husband, a Worcester officer |

The body of a woman sought in the death of her husband, Worcester Police Officer Kurt Solomon, is believed to have been found, officials said Monday. Two workers at a rehabilitation hospital near the pond that had been the center of the massive search for Karen Solomon reported seeing a body in the woods about 12:49 p.m. Monday, Worcester Police Chief Paul Saucier said. Investigators found a body they believe is Karen Solomon’s, along with a handgun. Her identity still has to be confirmed by the medical examiner’s office, according to Saucier. |

| Driver sought in Framingham hit-and-run crash that killed pedestrian |

Police are looking for the person who fled after fatally hitting a man Sunday night in Framingham, Massachusetts. Officers responded to the crash on the 100 block of Irving Street around 8:55 p.m. Sunday, finding a 39-year-old Framingham man seriously hurt. He was taken to MetroWest Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries, police said Monday. |

Girish Navani, the CEO and co-founder of the software company eClinicalWorks, has paid $6 million to buy a public golf course just a 10 minute drive from his office. People in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, welcomed the town’s youth baseball team home from the Little League World Series on Monday. The boys on Bridgewater’s Little League team were eliminated Saturday in a 2-1 loss to the team from Hamilton, Ohio. The team was greeted Monday with a celebration at Legion Field, where families, friends and community members held signs and balloons. |
