On a busy day in November 2019, RetroCores was officially launched.
It quickly became that age's most popular 7.4 server.
It started with 2 worlds, Antica (EU), and Danera (USA), even though the first day wasn't as impressive as many other game launches, with barely 250 players online the first night (in 2 worlds combined), this would shortly change, as every day, for weeks, for months, it grew.
It became so large that we had to open more worlds, and so we opened Elysia (BR).
Shortly after, we opened Harmonia (NON-PVP, EU).
A few weeks after Harmonia was launched, we hit the all-time peak of 3,583 players online in 4 worlds, there Antica was the most popular one, peaking well over 1,900 players.
During this time, we had a lot of troubles, DDos, crashes, laggs and much more, months and months of work were put down trying to tackle all problems.
Today, 7 years have passed, and a lot has changed as well!
RetroCores may no longer be as popular, but it remains strong, there are always players online enjoying themselves.
There's always someone online, who has been playing constantly since RetroCores first released!
Harmonia, which was launched 6.5 years ago, is still active today with both old and new players!
A changed game
Over the past 7 years, RetroCores has changed little by little and is no longer the same game it once was.
Today, it's not a 7.4 game, it is actually a mixture of 7.4, 8.0, and 8.6.
Play as if it were 8.0
If you are a hardcore 7.4 player, the chance is high that you won't enjoy RetroCores as much.
If you enjoy playing a traditional 8.0, and enjoy both old and new graphics, you're going to love RetroCores!
And if you love exploring and investigating mysteries, and generally are an RPG player, RetroCores will keep you busy for years on end with our insanely extensive content!
If you are a hardcore 7.4 fan
Then we have good news if you haven't paid attention.
ClassiCores is a new game that will officially launch later this fall, and will be extremely similar to the first edition of RetroCores.
A gameplay dedicated to pure 7.4, a very balanced exp system that keeps it slow, but not too slow.. we're talking 2x rate.
You find all the necessary information you need about ClassiCores here: ClassiCores -About.
