Hello Floris Families,

What a great start to the school year! Even with this short week, our students are settling into routines, reconnecting with friends, and getting back into the rhythm of learning. We are excited about the momentum we are building together!

We’re also looking forward to seeing many of you tonight at 6:30 p.m. on the blacktop for our PTA Popsicle Social! It will be a great opportunity to connect, build community, and simply enjoy some time together as a Floris family. We hope you can join us!

Back-to-School Night is Next Week!

We are excited to welcome families into our classrooms next week for Back-to-School Night! This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, learn more about classroom routines and expectations, and hear about the exciting learning experiences planned for the year! I hope to see you all this evening.

Back to School Night Details for Next Week

Who: 

Parents and Guardians

When:

Monday, September 14, 6:00-7:00pm for Kindergarten

Tuesday, September 15, 6:30pm for grades 1st, 3rd, and 6th

Wednesday, September 16, 6:30pm for grades 2nd, 4th, and 5th

What: 

• Back-to-School Night provides parents/guardians an opportunity to meet teachers and learn about classroom routines and the grade level curriculum.
• Because time is very limited, Back-to-School Night is not an appropriate time to discuss an individual student’s progress.

Parking: 

• Please park in the side parking lot (by the blacktop/ playground/fire station)
• Enter through Door 6, through the cafeteria
