Flint Hill Updates

Good Afternoon Flint Hill Families,

Students and staff returned from the Labor Day vacation ready to learn this week! This week, students are completing beginning of year assessments, learning groups are being organized and instruction across all content areas is proceeding smoothly.

Are you ready for Back-to-School Night next week? Parents and guardians are invited to visit their students' classrooms and learn more about their new grade level. On Thursday, September 17th doors will open at 5:25 pm, the first session will begin at 5:30 pm and the second session will begin at 6:15 pm. We hope to see you there!

In order to promote student safety, please ensure to use safe driving practices when arriving and dismissing from FHES. All kiss and ride traffic must go through the kiss and ride lane near the FHES gym. Please do not attempt drop-offs or pick-ups outside of this area. Pedestrian crossings through the bus loop or other non-designated areas are hazardous to student and adult safety. Thank you for your help with ensuring safe arrival and dismissal practices. Specific location and doors for student dismissal are included in the messages below.

Lastly, mark your calendars! Wednesday, September 30th will be a 3-hour early release day for FHES. Students will be dismissed at 12:35 pm. Additional information regarding your students' dismissal plans for 9/30/26 will be collected from you soon.

Kindly,

Mr. Montaquila, Principal

Mr. Baker, Assistant Principal
