UNT receives $20M to launch AI and analytics college
The University of North Texas is launching the Anuradha and Vikas Sinha College of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics, supported by a $20 million gift from Vikas and Anuradha Sinha. The new college will house six permanent endowments to fund leadership, scholarships, professorships and research in AI and advanced data analysis.

Universities increase space use but conference rooms lag
Universities have greatly improved their space utilization since 2025, with daily peak usage rising by six to eight basis points, according to Occuspace's latest report. Classrooms and offices showed the largest year-over-year gains in occupancy, climbing to 47% and 45% utilization, respectively. While this represents the most progress since the post-pandemic period, utilization still falls short of institutional targets of 70%-85%.
