TRAFFIC ALERT: 2026 Samuel Beckett’s Celtic Festival

ARLINGTON, Va. – The 2026 Samuel Beckett’s Celtic Festival will be held in Shirlington on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The Arlington County Police Department will close the following roadway from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on September 19, to accommodate the event:  

• Campbell Avenue from S. Randolph Street to 28th Street S. (alleyway to Harris Teeter)

Street parking in the area will be restricted, and motorists should be on the lookout for temporary “No Parking” signs.  Vehicles in violation of the posted signage will be ticketed and towed.  If your vehicle is towed, please use the online portal to find out the status of your vehicle and where it is located. The online portal is updated in real time. If you cannot locate your vehicle or need additional support using the online portal, call the County non-emergency number at 703-558-2222.
