Volkswagen says its most advanced driver assistance system, IQ.Drive, comes with its ID.Buzz with the Atlas, Golf and Tiguan to include most of the advanced features. The system includes features such as Travel Assist for hands-free lane changes, Emergency Assist Plus for emergency handling and Predictive Active Cruise Control. The ID.Buzz also benefits from Road Experience Management, which uses cloud-based data for mapping.

Automakers such as Ford, Hyundai and Stellantis are introducing extended-range electric vehicles that use gasoline engines as generators to address range anxiety. The Jeep Grand Wagoneer and the Hyundai Santa Fe will be among the first such vehicles in the US, offering ranges of up to 690 miles.
