KJMS After-School is partnering with Silver Knights Chess Academy to offer FREE Chess instruction to KJMS Students!
Chess Club will meet on Mondays on the following dates:
2:30-3:30 - regular meetings
9/15, 9/22, 9/29, 10/6, 10/13
2:30-4:30 - culminating tournament
10/20 and 10/27
Learn chess with Silver Knights Chess Academy, formerly Magnus Chess Academy! We’ve taught 100,000 children to play including state & national champions, but most students are beginners looking to learn a new skill and have FUN. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games. Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies.The club will culminate with an in-house tournament on 10/20 and 10/27 - more details to come!

Join the Pokémon TCG Club, where strategy, critical thinking, and fun come together! Whether you're a seasoned player or looking to learn how to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game, this club offers an inclusive environment to learn new decks, practice strategy, and have a great time with fellow enthusiasts.
