Dezeen has announced the architecture shortlist for this year's Dezeen Awards.

Our 152 shortlisted projects across 19 architecture categories include buildings by Dorte Mandrup, Farshid Moussavi Architecture and Herzog & de Meuron.

Shortlisted projects include a country house with walls formed of unstabilised rammed earth in the UK, a trio of squat guesthouses characterised by glass walls and thatched roofs in Ukraine and a mosque with a perforated, blanket-like roof of stone-clad steelwork in Qatar.
