Good question came in from my Skool group yesterday: "What about the business owners that want you to send a resume first before they would entertain your message? And how do you find the business owners of these job posts?" Two questions. Both matter. Here's the answer. On the resume. Nobody's going to ask you for one, because you're not applying for the job. The 3-line message doesn't go through the Indeed apply button. It doesn't go to whoever is screening candidates. It goes around all of that, straight to the owner. And it doesn't read like a job application, because you never introduce yourself in it. There's a reason for that and I explain it inside. The short version is that the owner reads it and thinks "wait, what?", not "who is this and where's the resume?" Their number. Your number. A question that's easy to say yes to. On finding the owner. This is Module 3, and it's one of the things I'm proudest of in the course. Finding the actual owner's email takes under five minutes once you know where to look, and I walk through it on screen step by step. So the sequence looks like this. Find the ad. Skip the wrong ones in a ten-second read. Find the owner. Send three lines. When they write back "how much?", you already know what to say. Most replies come on the first message. Most closes come on the second or third. It's $24.99 until midnight EST tonight. Then the price goes up. |
