After yesterday's website crashing chaos, I'm going to keep it short thought for your Thursday.

It's pretty common these days to hear something like this:

"You have to build an audience before making money."

Which is wrong, of course.

That's like saying you have to be as big as Walmart in order to get any customers.

Also wrong.

This is really just a voice of fear delaying the right action by taking a different action.

If your goal is to scale a business, the focus should be getting as much cash in the door as possible.

Audience building is a far-distant priority.
