Family Night is Back and Now at Drew! Family Night has a new location this year! This fun, free, drop-in program is moving to the Charles Drew Community Center on Friday, Oct. 9 from 6-8 p.m.. With the usual fun of inflatables, games, creative crafts, and bingo, we will also be working with the Green Valley Farmer's Market! The market takes place in the town square from 4-7 pm and has produce/food vendors and live music. There will be a special voucher for a free snow cone, cotton candy, or popcorn for families who attend both Family Night and the market so feel free to come and support both events on October 9! Need a Babysitter for the Evening? Register Your Child for Parent's Night Out Parent's Night Out continues at Lubber Run Community Center on Friday, Oct. 9 from 6-10 p.m.! This program is a drop-off program for kids ages 5-10 for an evening of fun and games. Cost: $42 per participant. View future dates and register for Parent's Night Out here.

The Pumpkin Walk Returns on October 17! Grab your friends and family, get dressed in your best costume, and get ready for some Halloween fun! Join us on Saturday, October 17 at Lubber Run Community Center from 5:30-8:30 p.m. for a fall evening filled with fun. Bring the Fall Fun Home With a Cozy Family Paint Along Family Art Lab at Home is offering a fun paint along opportunity to celebrate the fall season! Registration is open until Oct. 28, so don't miss out on this at home activity for the whole family. Kits cost $22 and contain enough materials to make 4 paintings. Once you register, materials will be available for pick up at the front desk at Fairlington Community Center from 8:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Nov. 2-6, 2026.
