From the shade along your favorite sidewalk to your favorite park, trees are part of what makes Arlington feel like home. Do you have questions about how the County cares about public trees, planting more or protecting them as our community grows? This is your chance to learn more and ask Arlington’s Forestry team directly.
Join our free virtual info session on Thursday, October 29 at 6:30 p.m. We’ll start with a presentation exploring:
-
Caring for our trees: How the County plants and maintains public trees, and how you can help.
-
Challenges facing our urban forest: Invasive plants, deer, climate change and development.
-
Protecting and growing our canopy: Arlington’s goals and efforts to preserve trees during construction.
-
Trees on your property: Planting programs and resources for residents.
Then, we’ll turn the conversation to your questions.
Know a neighbor or friend who cares about trees? Forward this invitation. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re a longtime tree advocate or just curious about trees!
