Early Childhood Arts Program
Music Together Monday, October 5 |10:30 - 11:15 AM | Stacy C. Sherwood Center, 3740 Blenheim Blvd. | Free
Class size is limited and pre-registration is required. If you have multiple children, registration is required for each child age 2 and over.
The Early Childhood Arts Program introduces children ages 2 - 5 to the joy of the arts through engaging, age-appropriate live performances and experiences. Designed to inspire a lifelong love of the arts, children will learn how to watch, listen, participate, and show appreciation and respect for performers and artists. Programs will feature a variety of art forms, including music, storytelling, dance, and other specialty performances. This program is sponsored by the City of Fairfax Commission on the Arts.

The Alfred Yun Quartet opens the Old Town Hall Performance Series!

Alfred Yun is a Korean-American jazz pianist and composer whose music is influenced by his upbringing in both Korea and the United States. Listen for influences ranging from jazz, hip hop, and K-Pop to traditional Korean music in Mr. Yun's compositions. At our opening night concert, enjoy a jazz performance inspired by Korean culture.
The Old Town Hall Performance Series, now in its 37th season, presents 12 free concerts, from October through April, highlighting a wide variety of musical genres and is supported by the City of Fairfax Commission on the Arts.

Be sure to catch one of our Mini-Art Vending Machines at the City of Fairfax Fall Festival on Saturday, October 10. Find it at the Cultural Arts table in front of Old Town Hall! We'll be featuring a selection of nine of our most popular mini-art prints from the past year! Be a Part of the Art: Tree of Learning Community Mural!
Join us to create something lasting for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) Mason community! Community members of all ages are invited to join artist Brianna Camp in bringing the Tree of Learning Community Mural Project to life.
This collaborative mural celebrates creativity, lifelong learning, connection, nature, and our shared commitment to community.
So, roll up your sleeves and join us for one of the Community Paint Days on October 9 or October 11. No artistic experience is needed. The mural has been designed so everyone can participate, and all materials and guidance will be provided. (Rain Date: October 16 and 18.)
