What a week it has been at Lake Anne! We officially completed our first early release of the school year, and we are so appreciative of the partnership from our students, staff, and families that helped the day go smoothly.
We also kicked off the year with our first PTA meeting, and we are excited about what’s ahead! Our PTA is an important part of what makes Lake Anne such a connected community, and we would love for more of our families to get involved. Whether you attend a meeting, volunteer your time, support an event, or simply stay connected, there’s a place for you! If you haven’t joined yet, consider this your invitation to jump in.
As we get closer to the end of the first quarter, it’s also a great time to connect with your child’s teacher. Ask about their progress, celebrate their successes, and talk together about how we can best support them as we move into the second quarter. These conversations are an important part of the home-school partnership and help ensure our students continue to feel supported and challenged.
Thank you for another week of showing up for our Dolphins and for one another. From learning in our classrooms to the connections happening throughout our school, we continue to see what makes Lake Anne such a special place to learn, belong, and thrive.
