Embracing AVID Strategies at Bucknell!
All students in grades 3–6 received personalized Bucknell planners this year to help them stay organized and build strong academic habits. Students are encouraged to use their planners each day to keep track of homework, assignments, reminders, to-do lists, and important dates. These organizational strategies help students build independence and take ownership of their learning!

Este año, todos los estudiantes de 3.º a 6.º grado recibieron agendas personalizadas de Bucknell para ayudarlos a mantenerse organizados y desarrollar buenos hábitos académicos. Se anima a los estudiantes a usar sus agendas todos los días para llevar un registro de tareas, trabajos, recordatorios, listas de pendientes y fechas importantes. ¡Estas estrategias de organización ayudan a los estudiantes a desarrollar independencia y asumir responsabilidad por su aprendizaje!
Dear Bucknell Families,
It is hard to believe we are already in October! Our Bulldogs continue to settle into strong routines, build independence, and make great progress each day.
AVID at Bucknell
Students in grades 3–6 are continuing to strengthen their organizational skills through planner use, notebook checks, and daily routines. We are proud to see our Bulldogs building habits that will help them become more independent and responsible learners.
Free Fresh Food Market
Our next Free Fresh Food Market will be held on Wednesday, October 14, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Families are invited to pick up fresh produce and pantry items at no cost. Please remember to bring your own bags!
Fall Funtacular
Save the date for our PTA Fall Funtacular on Thursday, October 29, from 5:00–7:00 p.m.! We are looking forward to Trunk or Treat, The Great Zucchini, activities, and plenty of fall fun for our Bucknell community.

Mercado Gratuito de Alimentos Frescos
Nuestro próximo Mercado Gratuito de Alimentos Frescos se llevará a cabo el miércoles 14 de octubre, a partir de las 10:30 a. m. Las familias están invitadas a recoger frutas, verduras y artículos de despensa sin costo alguno. ¡Por favor, recuerden traer sus propias bolsas!
Funtacular de Otoño
¡Reserve la fecha para nuestro Funtacular de Otoño de la PTA el jueves 29 de octubre, de 5:00 a 7:00 p. m.! Esperamos disfrutar de Trunk or Treat, The Great Zucchini, actividades y mucha diversión otoñal con nuestra comunidad de Bucknell.

School Pictures Are Ready to View! Families can now access and order their student’s school pictures online through Strawbridge Studios. Use the instructions in the flyer to look up your school, receive your student’s picture code, and view their image gallery.

You will need your child’s last name and student ID number to access their gallery.
