PTSA WOLF SHACK - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED & HALLOWEEN CANDY DRIVE!

The Wolf Shack Needs Volunteers for Red Bag Saturday on October 24th

Food for Neighbors is one of the Wolf Shack's biggest food and resource donors. Food for Neighbors has a Red Bag Donor program across area middle and high schools: Five times during the school year, you fill a Red Bag (dropped off at your door by Food for Neighbors) with food from a suggested grocery list. Drivers pick up the filled bag right from your front door and volunteers sort the food to distribute to local schools the same day! It is a simple and easy way to make sure the Wolf Shack stays stocked throughout the year.

OUR NEXT RED BAG SATURDAY OF THIS SCHOOL YEAR IS OCTOBER 24TH! We NEEDVOLUNTEERS to help unload and organize our food donations in the Wolf Shack. Adults and students welcome and service hours are offered to all student volunteers. Sign up to volunteer at jhsptsa.org/wolfshacksignup!

The Wolf Shack Wants Your Extra OR Leftover Halloween Candy!

One of the favorite things about the Wolf Shack for students is the candy bowl! A little sweet treat (often with a laugh or chat) means a lot to our student community. But we need help keeping that bowl full...and that's where you come in!

We are asking for extra candy from Halloween to be donated to the Wolf Shack. Starting October 30th, the PTSA will have Wolf Shack bins in the school front office to accept any and all candy donations. Whatever little goblins don't eat on Halloween night will be appreciated for weeks to come in the Wolf Shack!

The Wolf Shack is our PTSA-sponsored in-school food and resource pantry available to all Justice students. In the Wolf Shack, we provide FREE essential resources for ALL students - from food for them and their families to personal care toiletries to clothing to academic supplies to after-school snacks. The Wolf Shack is open from 3-5pm on late bus days (Wednesdays & Thursdays) every week in Room B27 between the Black Box Theater and the Little Theater. The Wolf Shack is fully dependent upon the financial and in-kind donation support of our partners, families, staff and community. Please consider supporting The Wolf Shack in any of the following ways:

  • Make a financial donation which allows us to fill urgent needs (jhsptsa.org/wolfshackfund)
  • Become a Food for Neighbors Red Bag Donor to donate easily throughout the school year  (https://www.foodforneighbors.org/red-bag-program/)
  • Drop-off or have any donation delivered to the front office of JHS (just label with "PTSA Wolf Shack")
  • Purchase directly from our Amazon wish-list and deliver straight to the school (jhsptsa.org/wolfshackwishlist)
  • Organize a food and toiletry drive through your community, church, clubs and/or service organizations
  • Volunteer for our weekly open hours, packing the family food bags and/or for food distribution pick-ups and unloading  (jhsptsa.org/wolfshacksignup)

Email wolfshack@justicehsptsa.org with any questions or ideas. Thank you again for your support and generosity!

JUSTICE ATHLETICS PACK PASSES

There’s still plenty of action left at Justice! In the fall season alone, we have 14 home athletic events remaining and that doesn’t even include all of our winter and spring home contests!

Individual admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students, so the savings can add up quickly. If you attended all 14 remaining fall home events, individual tickets would cost $98 for an adult and $70 for a student. With a Pack Pass, you would pay just $80 for adults or $40 for students, saving $18 or $30 before Winter Sports even begin!

Your Pack Pass provides admission to all regular-season home athletic contests throughout the entire 2026 - 2027 school year.

Pack Pass Pricing: Adults: $80 | Students: $40

For added convenience, your Pack Pass can be added directly to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for easy entry at home events.

Please note: Pack Passes are not valid for VHSL postseason or playoff contests.

FOOTBALL GAME ENTRY UPDATES

FCPS is taking additional steps this year to help ensure that our athletic events remain safe for students, families, staff, and community members by introducing  security screenings of all spectators at our varsity football games.

We will be using the existing weapons screening systems that our students pass through every morning in our schools. In addition, we will be implementing a standardized bag policy to help support a smooth and efficient entry process. Students, family members, and all spectators are reminded that the following items are prohibited:

  • Backpacks
  • Purse
  • Fanny pack
