PTSA Membership Drive -- we are at 397 members: you could help us get to 400!
If you're not sure whether you've joined, check in at wshsptsa@gmail.com and we'll confirm. (Hint: if you didn't get an e-mail from us on Saturday, Oct. 19, you probably haven't joined yet this year)
How do I join the PTSA? Follow this link to our Givebacks (formerly Memberhub) store and select the option that is best for you: https://wshs.givebacks.com/store
Why should I join? This is our school. We can keep it a great school by doing our part, or we can hope others do it for us. Don't wait for someone else to do it! The PTSA fills the gaps: we help with communication, community education, support of student initiatives, scholarships, teacher appreciation, recognition, and advocacy. Our school is a better place with a strong PTSA! See our list of other reasons at https://wshsptsa.net/join/
If I join, will I be asked to do things? You can just pay your dues and not do anything else if you want. Totally up to you. We'll share volunteer opportunities and opportunities for donations to teacher appreciation and other events, but joining doesn't commit you to doing anything else. The most important step is joining. I hear too often "I didn't join because I don't have time to do things." Don't let that stop you. If that's the case, we're happy to just take your financial support-- we'll put it to good use!
Please consider joining. Most of our funds come from our membership dues and restaurant nights, so we really need people to join the PTSA! For more info on the PTSA, please visit our website at https://wshsptsa.net/
