Hey Dupa,
AI is rapidly shifting the digital agency landscape, and it was a hot topic at the USUMMIT. We explored how AI is empowering agency owners to enhance capacity and efficiency without expanding their teams. The conversations centered around how agencies can leverage AI to automate operational tasks, allowing you to focus on more strategic efforts.
One key takeaway was that there wasn’t discussion about AI causing layoffs—it's all about doing more with what you have. AI isn’t going to take your job, but someone who knows how to use AI might. We emphasized the importance of using AI responsibly; it should support account managers and client success, not replace them. Authentic relationships are crucial, and clients can tell when they’re being automated.
Khushbu Doshi from E2M blew us away by showcasing game-changing AI agents that save their team 600+ hours a month. After her talk, we all felt like we needed to lay down to keep the room from tilting off its axis!
If you're just getting started with AI, it’s best to start with operational tasks that are well-documented and follow a consistent rule or process set. Then, you can move on to tasks that would benefit from unlimited time to execute, like analyzing 1,000 blog posts. Finally, consider creating expert-led tasks, such as developing a sales or support chat, or other advanced AI-driven solutions.
We hosted a live training: AI for Agency Owners a few weeks back and we capped out our zoom meeting
