Yukon MLAs have accepted a series of proposed changes to the territory's electoral map. Those changes, recommended by an independent commission, would see the number of electoral districts in Whitehorse increase by two, and would also see changes to the makeup of other districts.

Yukon gov't denies ask from businesses for higher liquor discount

Dozens of Yukon businesses had signed a petition asking for the territory to increase the discount from 17 per cent to 25 per cent on wholesale liquor products. Bars and restaurants argue that costs of food, alcohol and labour are all on the rise.
