The International Criminal Court said it found reasonable grounds to believe that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defense minister Yoav Gallant were responsible for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza, including using starvation as a method of warfare and directing attacks against civilians. Both men have vehemently denied the allegations. The court also issued a warrant for Hamas commander Mohammed Deif for crimes against humanity committed on Oct. 7. Israel said it killed Deif in a July airstrike but the ICC said it had not confirmed his death. |
