Are you ready for Thanksgiving?
I’m not talking about prepping the turkey. I’m asking about your plan to create a warm and loving atmosphere for the people gathered around your table.
Here’s a little icebreaker for you. It’s perfect if you have a diverse group of friends and family with different beliefs and backgrounds.
Once everyone is seated around the table, ask “Who did you vote for in the presidential election and why?”
If that doesn’t get the conversation flowing, try this follow-up question:
“Who, in your opinion, is destroying this country?”
OK, that could backfire. In all seriousness, don’t ruin your family gathering by discussing politics.
Do it by bringing up religion.
