GM seeks patent for holographic in-car display

General Motors has filed a patent for an "Autostereoscopic Campfire Display" that uses a complex projection system to beam holographic images to passengers' eyes -- creating a 3D effect. The system involves a passenger monitoring system, a spatial light modulator and a beam steering device to track eye positions and project images.

Athom has released the Homey Pro Mini, a compact and affordable smart home hub. The device supports Ethernet, Zigbee, Thread and Matter, and it runs on the Homey OS, although users can add Z-Wave, Bluetooth LE and infrared by pairing the Mini with the Homey Bridge. The release follows LG's acquisition of Athom, with plans to integrate Homey with LG's ThinQ platform.

Stellantis prioritizes Ram 1500 Ramcharger launch
2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger Bighorn (Stellantis)
Stellantis is launching the range-extended Ram 1500 Ramcharger before the all-electric Ram 1500 REV -- citing strong consumer interest and slowing demand for electric trucks. The Ramcharger, with a targeted range of up to 690 miles, will be available for orders in the first half of 2025, while the Ram 1500 REV has been delayed to 2026.
