Sam Goldstein

Dear Fairview Families,

As we approach the end of December, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to our Falcon community for your dedication to this school and your children.

We hope this winter break provides a much-needed opportunity for rest, relaxation, and quality time with loved ones. Whether you're spending time outdoors, enjoying cozy indoor activities, or traveling to new places, we hope you create lasting memories.

We look forward to welcoming you back to school on January 6, 2025!

Have a great Winter Break!

Fairview Gift Card Drive

Dear Families,

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for the incredible generosity and kindness shown by our school community. Thanks to your support, we were able to provide assistance to all the families in need, making a meaningful difference for everyone.

Your compassion and commitment to helping others reflect the strength and care of our community.

Wishing you and your loved one’s peace, joy, and well-being. Thank you for being an essential part of our school family!

Sincerely,

Karen Fructuoso and Jill Corderman (Fairview Counselors), and Ja-Niah Dupree (Fairview Social Worker)

Planning a Playdate?

If making arrangements for a child to go home with another child, Fairview’s office needs to know separately from PickUp Patrol so that we can make sure all permission is received and can help make it happen:

  • Please email the FairviewESAttendance@fcps.edu mailbox to let us know the arrangements. This is the office mailbox for attendance and dismissal information.
  • Please copy the other parent on the email; the other parent merely needs to ‘reply all’ and we have their permission and can create a Bus Pass so that the bus driver knows where to take your child.
  • Even if your child is riding their regular bus but getting off at a different stop, the driver needs a Bus Pass.

Relying only on PickUp Patrol is not ideal because:

  • It is not reviewed until dismissal.
  • PickUp Patrol does not give any indication that the receiving parent knows another child is coming home to them.

Thank you for your help in keeping our Falcons safe!

Watch this video to see how FCPS makes weather closing decisions

Be among the first to hear about weather delays and closings! Update your contact information in SIS ParentVUE. Emails and text messages are sent to parents and caregivers based on the addresses and cell phone numbers entered on this platform.
