Campbell's Corner

Greetings Key Middle School Families,

As the holiday season approaches, I want to express my sincere gratitude for the privilege of partnering with you in the education of your children. It has been a pleasure to witness the growth and development of our students this year, and I am incredibly proud of their accomplishments both inside and outside the classroom.

The dedication and support of our parents, guardians, and caretakers are invaluable to the success of our school. Your active involvement in your child's education, from attending school events to helping them with their schoolwork, creates a positive and enriching learning environment for all.

I wish you and your families a joyous and restful holiday break filled. Please remember to prioritize safety and well-being during this festive time.

We look forward to welcoming our students back to school refreshed and ready to learn in the new year.

Sincerely,

Drew Campbell

Winter Hallway Decorations

Winter

Thank you to our School Council Association and Art student for creating these wonderful winter decorations for the school hallways. Ms. Dietrich and Mr. Robbins, SCA sponsor and art teacher, respectively, also deserve a huge round of applause for their work with our kiddos to make these decorations possible..

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Screener Results

Students in grades 3-12 took the SEL Screener during the month of October, providing information on their SEL skills like achieving goals, understanding and managing emotions, establishing and maintaining relationships, and making responsible decisions. The screener also asks students how well their school community makes them feel valued, included, and supported.

Individual student SEL Screener results are now available to families in the Documents section of SIS ParentVUE. For families who do not have an active ParentVUE account, results will be sent via postal mail.

For support in understanding your individual student’s results or for ideas on how to support them at home, please review the Family Guide.
