grade 1

Throughout Fort Hunt, we were ending the year on a strong academic note. Here are some first graders this week focusing on forming groups of tens and counting collections by tens. Using flexible counting strategies for quantities up to 120 is one of the math standards for Grade 1.

A Message from Ms. Consolla

As we wrap up 2024 at Fort Hunt, I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for your continued support these past few months. I am incredibly proud of the progress our students have made. They have shown dedication, perseverance, and a love of learning that inspires us all! We are excited to see what they will accomplish when we come back in January.

I couldn't be more proud to work alongside such talented teachers. Our staff is committed to providing our students with a high-quality education that prepares them for success throughout the entirety of their educational experience and beyond. Knowing how hard they work, I've directed them to step away from emails these next two weeks as they rest and recharge with friends and families.

The Fox Den News will return just before the return to school. Until then, on behalf of the entire Fort Hunt staff, best wishes to everyone for a safe and restful winter break. As always, thank you for your partnership with us at Fort Hunt.
