Melania Trump’s first action as First Lady? Serving a classic look.

The First Lady dressed to impress as her husband Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States at the 2025 presidential inauguration Jan. 20.

Adorned in a matching navy blue coat and hat, Melania Trump wore a custom look from a New York designer when she arrived at the White House ahead of the president-elect’s swearing-in ceremony.

Eight years ago, Trump wore a lighter shade of blue from Ralph Lauren when her husband become the country’s 45th president.

Her second inauguration look marks a surprising step away from “household” designer labels in favor of a smaller name.

The first “Saturday Night Live” episode of 2025 on Jan. 18 was filled with hilarity thanks in part to guest host Dave Chappelle, who served as host for the fourth time.

Chappelle joined cast member Marcello Hernández in a sketch called “Immigrant Dad Talk Show 2,” reprising Hernández’s immigrant talk show host character Joaquin Antonio Gonzalez Hernández Suarez from Season 49.

The sketch finds Joaquin Antonio and his neighbor, whom he calls Black Richard (Chappelle), bonding over how their sons’ cultural interests, which include doing improve comedy and eating a vegan diet, mystify them.

Rapper Nelly spoke about his upcoming performance at President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration events Jan. 20, defending his decision amid backlash.

Nelly, whose real name is Cornell Haynes Jr., told rapper and media personality Willie D, whose real name is William Dennis, on a Jan. 18 episode of the “Willie D. Live” podcast that he’s performing for “the Office” of the President of the United States.

“I’m not here to take up for Trump, I’m not here to take up for Republicans. I’m not here to take up for Democrats,” Nelly said, later adding, “Performing for somebody and voting for somebody is two different things. Endorsing people is two different things.”

Comedian Dave Chappelle returned to “Saturday Night Live” to host for the fourth time just two days before President-elect Donald Trump retakes the oath of office, and he had a powerful message for the country’s 47th president.

Chappelle, who first hosted “SNL” after Trump’s election in 2016, gave a lengthy monologue to the Studio 8H crowd, where he made jokes from the controversy over whether pets were being eaten in Springfield, Ohio, to the allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs.

However, the “Chappelle Show” creator ended his set with a message that was a little more serious.
