Apple Intelligence has the potential to transform smart homes by enabling automation that requires minimal user input, writes Ben Lovejoy. While current systems like HomeKit require manual programming of scenes and automation, Apple Intelligence could learn user behaviors and automate tasks accordingly, making smart homes more accessible to less savvy tech users.

X has introduced a dedicated vertical video feed for US users, adding a tab in the app's bottom bar. The new feature, launched prior to President Donald Trump's 75-day stay on a US ban of TikTok -- which is unavailable in major app stores as of at least Tuesday morning -- is designed to enhance the platform's video accessibility and experience.

TikTok back online after 12-hour US downtime

TikTok advertisers resumed US campaigns on Sunday after the app was offline for 12 hours, causing US brands to see ad traffic plummet to zero. The platform returned after President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Monday to allow service providers to host TikTok, which remains unavailable for new downloads.
