President Trump is expected to announce a multibillion dollar investment later today from private tech companies to develop artificial intelligence infrastructure in the United States.
Tech industry partners involved in the joint venture, called “Stargate,” include OpenAI, Softbank and Oracle, according to a White House official who was not authorized to speak on the record about the planned announcement.
