Hi Jan,

I've got some exciting news to share with you!

We've just updated my book, The Retirement Planning Guidebook for 2025! The new edition incorporates valuable insights and strategies to navigate the complexities of retirement, and we can't wait to share them with you!

And to go along with this update, I'm going to be hosting a webinar on Tuesday, February 4th at 2:00 PM ET to talk about a very popular and important question: How Much Do I Need to Retire?. I'm really looking forward to this session- but let's get back to the book

What's New in the 2025 Edition?

We've revised all the numbers throughout the book to reflect the most up-to-date inflation and market data available. Staying current with economic conditions is crucial for accurate retirement planning, and our book now reflects the latest information. Interest rates are higher now than with any past iterations of the book, and you will see this reflected in how your savings can go further

The book is also current with public policy and tax law. In 2025, the biggest updates relate to clarification around the requirement minimum distribution rules for inherited IRAs and the repeal of the Social Security Windfall Elimination Provision and the Government Pension Offset

Update for eBook Owners

If you already own the eBook version of the Second Edition, we have some great news for you. You can receive the updated 2025 edition without needing to purchase it, at least with most eBook providers. If the 2025 edition isn't showing up automatically, you should be able to simply remove the downloaded edition from your device and re-download it to get the newest edition.

Join Us for a Special Webinar

Join us for an exclusive webinar to celebrate the release of the 2025 update to the Retirement Planning Guidebook! This session tackles one of the most pressing questions for retirement planning: "How much do I need to retire?" We'll explore how to answer this question using the concept of the funded ration- a powerful tool for evaluating your financial readiness by comparing your retirement resources to your future spending needs. You'll learn how the funded ration provides key risks to retirement: longevity, market volatility, and spending shocks. Whether you're just starting to think about retirement or refining your strategy, this webinar will provide actionable insights to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

I really hope that you'll be able to join me. You can register below to reserve your spot.

Thanks for letting us help you along the path to retirement you've always wanted. We're dedicated to providing you with the tools and knowledge you need to achieve financial security and peace of mind during your retirement years.

Happy Planning,
